Blending Strategy with Visual Design: Social Media & Graphic Assets
During my time working with Kanoon Iran Novin, one of Iran’s most established full-service advertising agencies, I was involved in an intensive and fast-paced environment that required balancing visual storytelling with functional design. My role evolved across multiple design verticals, including social media content creation, marketing visuals, and UI redesign for client-facing website. This project became a hands-on opportunity to deepen my expertise in digital branding, responsive interfaces, and storytelling through visuals. My early responsibilities centered around designing graphic and motion content for social platforms like Instagram, Telegram, and LinkedIn. These visuals were crafted in response to real-time marketing campaigns, seasonal trends, or client briefs.
Key Contributions:
Designed motion graphics and animated content in After Effects to drive more engagement and visual appeal. Created informational posts and ads with strong visual hierarchy to communicate effectively in crowded digital environments.

Adjusted layouts, colors, and tone depending on campaign goals — from high-end luxury to casual lifestyle products — learning how visual psychology affects audience perception and interaction.
This phase refined my understanding of brand voice, design systems for digital content, and the speed and precision needed in agency environments.
UI Design
As I grew more involved in the agency’s digital presence, I transitioned into UI design, where I took responsibility for redesigning the main website. This platform was used by the agency’s staff, partners, and clients, often involving booking systems, data dashboards, and client access portals.
UI Projects Included:
1. Designed responsive internal dashboards to help teams track project timelines, campaign milestones, and collaboration workflows across departments. 2. Created wireframes and user flows for client-facing portals, allowing clients to monitor campaign progress, review deliverables, and communicate with project teams. 3. Focused on readability and accessibility, especially in data-heavy environments like campaign reports and asset review screens. To ensure a seamless development hand-off, I regularly collaborated with front-end developers, delivering detailed specs, interaction notes, and component states (default, hover, active, error).
Tools, Design Principles & What I Learned
I worked with the following tools throughout the project: - Figma (design systems, UI layouts) - Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (graphics, social media content) - After Effects (motion design for dynamic posts) - Slack (team communication and task management) From a design principles perspective, I leaned heavily on: - Typographic clarity and consistent vertical rhythm in UI - Applying grids and modular spacing to maintain alignment and reduce cognitive load - Designing with the golden ratio (1.6) for hierarchy in typography - Balancing visual density on dashboards through negative space and contrast - Using natural colors with bold accents to retain elegance without visual fatigue This project was not only an opportunity to enhance my technical design skills but also sharpened my collaborative mindset. I learned how important it is to translate strategic intent into visuals, how to maintain design consistency across fast-paced campaigns, and how design thinking can be applied to both marketing and software. One of the most valuable takeaways was learning to work across disciplines — thinking like a developer, communicating like a strategist, and creating like a designer.
